Purple Flag invading Mozilla Firefox browser on Dell Hybrid. How to remove links

Start pc in safe mode.(F8) @ start-up. Select safe mode. Uninstall Firefox, including user settings. Run Glary Utilities from Glarysoft. Use one-click-maintenance only. Then repair. Should do the trick. Then reinstall Firefox. Be more careful about opening strange web sights and emails from people you don't know.

Need to reset password without a reset disk on a dell studio hybrid 140g

You can remove or change the Window's User or administrator's password. You need access to a computer with Internet access to download the Hiren's Boot CD and burn it onto a CD. Then insert this CD into the laptop/computer and boot up the laptop/computer with the Hiren's CD and follow the instructions. There are very useful utilities CD and it a Linux boot CD which contains quite a lot of Utility programs including a password removal program. Click on one of these links to download HIREN'S BOOTCD :- http://www.hirensbootcd.net/ http://67.20.82.163/

It goes to sleep and won't wakeup

I believe this model only comes with Vista. Go to Control Panel, and on the left hand side click Classic View then click the icon for Power Options.

There will be a few options under Preferred Plans and one is selected (Filled in dot)

Under the Power Plan that is selected, click Change Plan Settings and on the next screen, click Change Advanced Power Settings.

You will have a new window that opens up with a bunch of categories with little boxes with + signs. Click the + Sign box beside sleep to open op the menu. In the options under sleep, change HYBRID sleep and HIBERNATE to NEVER. Especially the Hybrid sleep as this was a problem I found with Vista. It sounds like the computer is going into the Hybrid/Hibernation and not comping out from it unless you power off the computer and turn it back on

Also, click the + sign beside Hard Disk and make sure the option to "Turn off Hard Disks After" is also set to NEVER
