The lights on the control panel were blinking when I went to check the slip covers I was washing. In particular, the "add garment", "rinse", and "clothes clean" were all blinking on the status indicator and the door was locked. I finally managed to get the door to unlock but when I tried to restart the machine, nothing happened although I could hear a motor (or something) running. After about 3 minutes, it stopped and the blinking lights appeared. I unplugged and replugged it...waited 30 minutes and tried again with no results. No water, no movement, nada. I've called for service but am looking at Aug. 6 before someone can come to deal with it. Anything I can do in the meantime?

Press and hold the control lock button down until the light goes off. This is a child proof feature that may have come on if you leaned against it to long. After lock light goes off you can use the machine.
