The brake lights came on with abs brake pedel is very rough and doesnt goes down all the way and took it to repair shop and told us it the turbo booster .

A fault with the brakes. Check and top up brake master cylinder if low on fluid. As the pads ware the fluid goes down and the light comes on. if the light goes out good. If not take it to brake repair shop to check out . Or brakes may fail.

ABS isn't so much a thing as a system, but if you want to know how to bleed your brake system you place a tranparent tube on one of the brake cylinder valves/nipples, then imerse the end of the tube in a small bottle with some brake fluid in. Then you get someone to press the pedal down slowly as you open the valve/nipple. They should pump a few times slowly, then with the pedal down close the valve/nipple. Check to see if the pedal is harder. You should do this with both front and rear brakes, as they are seperate lines. The ABS is a system that ballances the brakes to stop slewing across the road when you apply the pedal too hard. The part attached to the master cylinder is actually a servo, which should have a tube go from it to the inlet manifold of the engine. This causes a vacuum in the servo, which when applying the brakes helps the brakes by taking away some of the pressure needed. If this pipe is broken or not connected, then your sevo won't work. There is an easy way to check your servo. Press the pedal down, then start the engine, you should feel the pedal go down a bit more. If it does not, check the servo tube.

Find a better shop. Have them check for trouble codes in the ABS system.

ABS ,this vehicle is only repairable by a authorised dealer with the right software to reset the ABS computer .

Do you have an ABS light on on the dash? Is it a grinding like metal to metal or a growling like an electric motor working? If its metal to metal its time for a brake job, if it's the electric sound then you have an ABS concern. Sounds like an ABS issue with it being intermittent, should get the computer scanned if you have a light on.

un plug the module under the master cylinder and see if brake lamp goes out...if light goes out you may have a rear abs problem..hope this helps you!!

wheel speed sensor or wiring to speed sensor . the shop would need to pull a code to know witch one it is there is one on each wheel if its 4 wheel abs . i would put it on the houst and try spraying the abs sensors

I had the same problem with ABS light and speedometer, I was told that it is the transmission control module. It has not yet stopped shifting but I have had times where it just wont stay running. It will start and then stall. Hope this helps.

there are 2 options, ABS module is most likely, I just had my ABS module remanufactured and it worked greate when i re-installed.

the second option is the wheel sensor could have a bad connection(may have been bumped when your bearing got looked at.

there are a few companies that repair ABS modules, i used modulemasters, they did a good job, i can not vouch for any of the other companies.
