Hello,

Most printers installations s require that the printer not be connected to the computer until prompted by the setup program.

Also, you may want to check the Device Manager by clicking Start > Run > devmgmt.msc and press enter. Look for items with yellow ! beside them that are associated with your printer. If you find any right click on them and choose remove or uninstall. After they are all removed, restart the computer and insert the printer installation cd again.

Thanks

First of all unplug the printer from the computer and then use revouninstaller (use the free version!) to completely uninstall the support software - use medium and it should delete all file and folders.
Switch off the computer and restart still with no printer connected.
Run the software that you have downloaded but do not connect the printer until you are told to do so by the software.

"Improper Shutdown" - Printer keeps turning on and off.

Got the same problem following a message "Printer ink failure" code 0xc19a0035. Instructions say to shut down using button on/off. But printer refused to shutdown. After 30 minutes, I disconnected power cable. Removed cartridges. Reloaded cartridges. Reconnected power cable and got "Improper shutdown" message with continuous cycle. Solution: 1. While the printer is still turned on, unplug all cables and cords at the back of the printer.
2. Unplug the power cord also from the wall outlet...
3. Wait for two minutes.
4. Reconnect power cord to the wall outlet first.
5. Press and hold the pound (#) and six (6) buttons.
6. While holding down the two buttons, reconnect the power cord to the back of the printer and after two seconds, release pound and six buttons.
7. Turn on the printer if it turns off... and it's fixed.
8. Be patient to let printer run its tests.

Say that it is connected but will not print test sheet

The issue could be with an improper installation of the the printer. Uninstall the printer drivers and software and then restart the computer with the prnter disconnected. Reinstalling the drivers after this would be the easiest way to get it fixed. Is still unresolved please let me know.

Rate if useful.

Check for improper cartridge installation. Change the cartridge(s) if the problem persists. It's a pure catridge problem ok. Good luck
