Open the phone and click the Menu button. Note the center keypad above the numerical keys can click up, down, left and right.

Click the center keypad left until you see the "Messaging" option.
Click "New Message."Click "Text Message."


Enter the telephone number of the person (or people) you wish to send the message to. You can also select people from your contact list by clicking "Add" and then clicking "From Contacts." Select the contacts you wish to text by clicking "Mark" and then click "Done" when everyone has been selected.

Click down until you are in the "Text" box. Type in the message you wish to send. Click "Send."

Be sure that you have cleared out all your boxes. (inbox, outbox, sent, and drafts)

Is it "blocked" or "full"? If it's full, then you have no choice but to delete some of the existing messages you have kept.

Both saved "Sent" messages as well as "Received" messages will fill up the message memory, so it helps to do some management in both areas, and clear out old messages so you'll have room for the new ones.

You mail box is full. You need to delete some messages.

Remember messages vary in length and you may just have longer messages taking more room than before. Also have you checked and deleted other message boxes like 'sent', 'out box',& 'drafts'? Hope that helps?

I pressed the end key until the phone shut down. I left it off a few seconds. Then I held the end key until the phone came back on. The cell phone co. logo appeared on the screen. Then I went into messages and deleted drafts. Rebooting the phone worked for me.

Problem solved! Turns out that my son didn't realize that you have to call your voicemail box and delete voice messages by pressing "7" on the keypad. He thought that when you pressed "erase all" on the text message menu it erased voice mail, too. So the mailbox was full, as it only holds twenty messages. Sometimes the most obvious solution is the solution!

Open MESSAGING, click the upper left button on keypad to open Settings. Click OK on All Msg, scroll down to # 3. Quick Text and click OK. From there you can scroll and erase.
