Hi i have a Minolta Maxx Dynax 5xi Camera and i just recently bought a new battery (cr5 6v) and i inserted it into the camera and it's doing exactly the samething as the old battery. In MOST of the cases it's the new battery itself. Sometimes we do not check the manufacturing date on the battery and it is to old to get exhasted in the shelf itself. Otherwise the camera is faulty.

Hello. The batteries on my Minolta Dynax SPxi just died and i wonder how to change them? Do I take them out of the little plastic case or buy a whole new "set" of them? Thanks for any replies

Here is a link to the manual if you need one: http://www.uscamera.com/downloads/maxx3xi-om.pdf

Do not open the battery pack to try and replace the batteries, the are Lithium Ion. Purchase a new battery pack for replacement. Many available on eBay.

How to click picture through sd card

The Konica Minolta Maxxum 5xi QD is a 35mm film camera and does not use an SD card. If you want your photos taken on an SD card, you will need to get a digital SLR.

Hope that helps,
Bax

Where do you insert a sim card into a minolta maxxum 5 camera

Cameras, especially film cameras, do not use "SIM" cards. There were some models of Minolta film cameras that used exposure cards for auto-settings but only cellular phones and devices with cellular interfaces (iPads) use SIM cards. Here's a copy of the Maxxum 5 manual if that helps.

Maxxum 7 (analog) - won't turn on

Apperture base plate set needs replacing or there is a short in the camera ( camera dropped or acid leak ? ) . Especially the first broblem can be sorted only by trained people with some experience.
