Hi friend, i think your new ram created a problem with your motherboard. remove your motherboard battery for 15 minutes. then, place it and after it you go for your old RAM. if it again create a problem.so, go for nearest service center. they will surly fix problem.

Compaq laptop display not working

Have you tried an external monitor? Plug one in while the laptop is off, then turn it on. If no video on the external monitor, then there's a hardware issue somewhere else. Such as ram, motherboard or possibly cpu.
