Question about Zebra Z4M Printer
I have 2 Zebra Z4M printers which are shared across the network. It prints labels in large amount. Often we get errors in the printer queues and it would stops printing after the first patient. After I turn off the printer and turn it back on, printing resumes. But then it would stop again and I have to repeat the process. I contacted Zebra corp and they said the Z4M have been discontinued and they do not support it anymore.
Yes that is correct the Z4M is not supported any longer as they have reached End Of Life although parts are still available. The problem will be because the printer hasn't got enough memory, the Z4M uses flash RAM installed on the Main Logic Board. These might not be readilly available, another thing to use would be a Print Buffer. You should still be able to get them. The idea is to control the amount of data that is flowing to the printer, if the internal buffer fills up it will corrupt the data and a reboot is required.

I think your problem comes from your spool server. Check if you can select not to reprint on errors. As far as the error issue is concerned, i need to konw the reason of the errors to help
