Can't receive picture text mesage - HTC Desire Cell Phone

Sometimes they do that idk why but. Try Sending a pic without actually putting a text mesage with it?

go to message settings->text mesage->message sent via->see if it is text or not if not make it and try...

You have to access your mesage center select settings, select message tone, then select from the tones stored in your phone/memory card.

go to the mesage tab and click options then search for the option on the sim mesages and when it opens delete all the messages in the sim message box and check whether any messages in the outbox

Your phone is probably on silent or you havent selected a tone for your text messages. Go to your tones,select a particular ringtone you want to use for your text mesages select "options" and select ''set as message alert tone" and select ok.

for sending text messages :
1. call to your network operator customer care
2. request the message center number...
3.note it down
4. go to message settings>message center number
5. insert the number which is noted by you and save it
this solves your messaging problem ...

you need to contact your service provider and key in ur mesage center number in the message settings.

I think for picture mesages to come n go from your mobile, you need to have MMS service activated in your mobile. Pls contact your network operator.

Change the display option, it will show names

check ur mesage center number and change it as per ur sim card or call ur service providerstoll free number and ask him ur message center number he might give it to u.
