Solution: Perform a RAM Clear
Email this page
Performing a RAM Clear will restore all of the WorkCentre's
settings to the factory defaults. It will also clear all faxes in
memory, Speed Dials, One-Touch Buttons, Group Speed Dials, your System
ID, and any other stored information.
NOTE: If you are able to print, it is a good idea to print out your Phone Book before performing the RAM Clear, to assist you in reprogramming your Speed Dials and One-Touch Buttons. It is also recommended to print out your System Data List to assist you in reprogramming your system settings. If you are not sure how to print your Phone Book or System Data List, refer to Related Items at the bottom of this page.

This is a print head position issue.
TRY FIRST (Solutions without parts):
1. Check that the wipe mechanism has homed. 2. Check the printhead position and verify that it has initialized properly / manually home the printhead and power cycle the printers power and check for the error to return. If not then the error was most likely due to non-process function (something out of sequence).
Part likely to be the cause:

SOURCE: xerox 7750 fan failure code
That is the fuser fan either running slow or stalled. It is located on the back, looking from the back on the upper left. You will see the slotted opening.
You have to remove the side covers and the top cover to access it, Sometimes taking off the silver sticker in the middle, removing the rubber cap and oiling it will help.
To buy one. Go onto google and search for " the parts drop". Call them and ask for Britt or Joe, they will know what fan and be fair on a price.
Taking your time it should take half an hour to an hour to replace. Not hard, just take your time and make sure you note how you disassemble. You will be fine.
