Peel up the lower corners of the serial number sticker on the bottom side of the trackball to expose the two Phillips screws that hold the assembly together. Remove those and take the top off. Lift out the circuit board and be careful not to lose the little idler roller that sits thereon. Unplug the cable and you can then access the rollers with ease. Clean them with alcohol and remove any fuzz or dirt with tweezers, and it all goes back together the way it disassembled and should work fine again. Takes less than ten minutes.

Tripod not holding camera- tipping forward . bought used w/ no manual, Bescor TH-770. The salesman, and specs say holds 15 lbs. I shoot Canon 5D Mark II, w/ 24-70lens.Thanks for your partnership!

Hi, Paulisa,
It depends which head is fitted to your tripod, but in the illustration from Bescor themselves, it appears to be a pan-and-tilt head. Level with the tilt lever are apparently several adjusting screws - without the camera on board, in case of accidents (done it myself, and it's not a good feeling !), tighten all of these and see if the head will move in any direction. If it does, then the head has issues and should be returned.
If the head cannot be moved, then just experiment until you find out which adjuster affects movement in each plane - my guess is that it may be the lever to the left hand side of the head (not the one at the base, which probably affects movement in a horizontal plane).
When you are sure that you have sussed it, try again carefully with the camera attached - if there is still unwanted movement, then the head needs adjustment.

Will not move cursor from side to side.

If it's possible, take out the track ball and clean the 3 rollers that sends the signal to the computer. At times, they can attract dust, hair etc and gets very cloggy.
Hope this help.

I do not know how to wind up my watch, while a swing to a later no.Please answer me.Model hours a Seiko Kinetic 5M62-0B40.Thank you

This watch operates on a capacitor which is charged by movement. It does not wind, but it has a weight that charges the capacitor by motion.

Take the watch in hand by placing your fingers under the caseback and your thumb on the crystal. Use a horizontal motion (landscape) to move the watch back and forth quickly approximately one foot left and right. You should feel the internal weight move.

Do this for at least five minutes. If the watch does not start to operate (the second hand does not move at one second increments) then either the capacitor must be replaced, or the movement is defective.

You may send the watch directly to Seiko for service, or I would strongly suggest visiting your local Certified Master Horologist for what is usually a free assessment and estimate of the repair.

If you are following the above directions, you have done nothing wrong, but the movement or capacitor needs to be replaced.

If you have just purchased this watch and the instructions do not resolve your situation, I would promptly return it and exchange it, as the model may have been sitting for a while, and have a bad capacitor.

Kensington 64213 Expert Pro Mouse poor tracking and will not move cursor to the left

Cause:
I found the cause and solution. Dust and debris settle in the up and down roller more so than the side to side roller because of the angle and gravity.

Solution:
You need to take apart the plastic housing and then dismantle the circuit board to get in and remove dust/debris from the up and down roller area. You will need a magnifying glass and small flash light to really inspect the area. I took a sewing needle and carefully removed all the debris on both sides of this roller. I then blew the area clean with my mouth. You should actually use a compressed air spray from an electronics store. After removing all the debris and air spraying it clean then assemble back to normal the circuit board and housing. Bingo! This solved the problem which is not an electronic problem but a mechanical one.

Model 64213 (not a wireless model) Trackball is not working smoothly - already tried cleaning it and still gets "stuck" especially moving left and right. Up and down works well.

This is because the wheels that move with he trackball are getting stuck.

Try cleaning the inside housing.(The part that holds that trackball) Mainly, the tiny wheels that grab the trackball. Normal use can build up a gummy buildup inside that can be easily rubbed off with a cloth. Since the housing is underneath the trackball, there can be a greater potential for lint, crumbs or anything else to get inside as well. Clen in there, empty out any debree and you will find ti moves much smoother.

alternatively, one of the tiny wheels could be damaged and is not rolling properly. Roll each one with your finger to see if you can feal anything rough or if the wheel is rubbing against something.
