Question about Logitech Webcam
I have a Logitech Quickcam Communicate STX but I don't have the installation CD that goes with it. Anyway, I managed to get the drivers for it on the web but it doesn't work on Skype (keeps telling me that it's in use in another application even tho' it's not) and the Logitech video icon also tells me the same when I try to 'quick capture'...However, it seems to work okay on MSN...all very strange.
Could you please help me?
Start Skype then Go to "TOOLS", click on "OPTIONS," Then go to
"Audio Settings" and click on it. Make sure both the Microphone and
Speaker's are correctly chosen. Then
"make a free test call." Wait till the voice tells you to
record. Then when finished talking wait for the test persons voice to
insure your audio transmission is working. Then go back to options and
test your video settings. Click on Video Settings and proceed to set up
you video camera. Also, you can visit this site for additional
information to setup video.
Hope this helps. Bud
