- Thank you for your solution, so does this mean the iphone I have at the moment is useless unless there is a solution to fix the problem with ver 2.0 software being downloaded on the 1st generation phones?Sponsored Links

What sim card do you have in your iPhone. If you updated your iPhone to the new 2.0 software then unlocking the iPhone will be impossible.
