I'm trying to unlock my iphone generation 1, i've gone into itunes and restored my factory settings but its still showing up as my sim card invalid, can anyone help me with this please?

- Thank you for your solution, so does this mean the iphone I have at the moment is useless unless there is a solution to fix the problem with ver 2.0 software being downloaded on the 1st generation phones?Solution #1

What sim card do you have in your iPhone. If you updated your iPhone to the new 2.0 software then unlocking the iPhone will be impossible.
