MY EUREKA WORLD VAC ROLLERS

MY EUREKA WORLD VAC ROLLERS ARE NOT SPINNING. THE LIGHT IS ALSO BURNED OUT. IS THERE A CONNECTION BETWEEN THESE TWO EVENTS?
I would advise you to ALWAYS to FIRST UNPLUG YOUR VACUUM before beginning any service procedure. Some of the Eureka brushrolls have a sensor in the brushroll that indicates that the brush is moving and the sensor and the light are linked together – you may have a bad brushroll – to check that you need to remove the brushroll, stand it on end and spin it freely, if it does not spin the bearings could be bad or needs to be replaced with a new brushroll and a new belt. The belt change is every 4 to 6 months for the best cleaning. . If you need further help please refer to a local vacuum cleaner dealer in your area.
