I have since found a bent pin on one of the connectors, after correcting this The new board gives the same four blinks. I have found that the SC Board is causing the 200 Volt line from the power supply to shut down Should I replace the SD and SU boards as well.

10 blinks on this set is not a power supply fault but rather an A-board fault(Main A/V board). Hence replacing power supply would not do the trick. I suggest you return the board and get an A-board for +50$ and I am confident that it will resolve your problem.

No you will just have to replace the Sc board that is triggering the protection circuitry. That should fix the problem

More specific, please ! Finally, did you replaced all bad capacitors or only replaced the power supply unit ? Because there are many other capacitors on other places that can be damaged.
Sure, the problem seems to be from one of the capacitors, but you have to know how to find the damaged one (and with the proper instrument will be more easy). Howewer, to buy a good instrument is more expensive than to service your TV set (my opinion). Plus guaranty.

Could be either or both. The power supply board probably gas an electrolytic capacitor that has failed. Same goes for the main board. When you can hear a pop, you'll be able to visually locate the failed part. Capacitors must have a flat top on them. Any bulging or domed capacitors need to be replaced.

Sony PMB50HX1 - has sound, no picture

It sounds like either Y-sus or the X-sus pcb. These are usually fixed at board level and can be quite expensive. If your in Australia Speedy Spares in Melbourne should be able to supply these Boards. They are located on the left and right hand side of the panel and will be connected to the panel through smaller sub PCB's. The x and y sus boards are about 30cm x 20cm in size.
