PT-47WX52F with bad resistors at R832, R7060, and R7066. Changed IC's before, but now these resistors are bad. What type of resistors are these, and how can I obtain them? Thanks

R832 is a 8.2MEG 5% 3/4 watt resistor
R7060 & R7066 are both .27 ohm 5% 1watt resistors,
You can get the full set of panasonic resistors from www.tvrepairworld.com under the Panasonic repair kits its listed as the PT47WXC43 Resistor Kit that kit also fits the WX52 and WX42 models panasonics.

Resistor

electronix.com or matelectronic.com should have that resistor. Be sure to specify flame resistant 5% tolerance that is a convergence resistor so it needs to be flameproof and install it up off the board like the origional was.

Panasonic PT-53WX42F Picture Problem. Color Distortion.

Your TV most likely has a Convergence Chip Failure ( common problem )

Here are some of the most common symptoms and example photos of a convergence problem

  • Screen looks 3D
  • Colors don't line up
  • One or more colors can't be adjusted when using the convergence menu.
  • Screen is bowed or warped.

You need to replace the convergence chips and convergence resistors. Check the site www.TvRepairKits.com. They have put together convergence repair kits for most models.

The kits include a photo instruction guide, original OEM Sanyo STK chips, convergence resistors, pico fuses, thermal paste, etc. Everything you will need to do the repair yourself.
