Hi there, uninstall the soundcard in the System Properties--> Device Manager section of Windows XP/Vista (Press the Windows Key & Pause/Break)

Next time you reboot it will reinstall the drivers for you, that should help.

Itunes wont open

A corrupt iTunes library prevents the iTunes program from opening and prevents Apple device synchronization. According to Apple, the iTunes library must be rebuilt, which resets the library and removes the current content in the media manager. Back up your media prior to recreating the library, as the recreating process erases all content and your Apple device will synchronize with the blank, recreated library and erase the device's information.

Insert the DVD-RW disc into the computer's DVD-RW drive, and open iTunes. Click "File," "Library" and "Backup to Disc." Select the iTunes library and playlist backup and click "Next." Eject the disc after the backup completes, and close out of iTunes. Move "iTunes Music Library.xml" from your iTunes folder to the desktop. Right-click "iTunes Library" and click "Delete." Launch iTunes and click "File," "Library" and "Import Playlist." Locate and double-click the iTunes Music Library.xml file. Insert the burned disc into the DVD-RW drive and click "Restore." or
Fix iTunes if It Won't Open on Your Computer b> You've clicked and clicked and clicked some more, but iTunes just refuses to launch. A non responsive program is frustrating to any computer user, but especially if all you want to do is listen to some music or download a new album. If iTunes isn't opening, there are many possible causes for this error. None of these fixes will affect your current music collection. Though you may need to tweak or reinstall some software, your MP3s will stay right where they are.

Confirm that your Apple device is connected securely to your computer. If you are not trying to access iTunes via an Apple device, or if your device is connected correctly, continue to step two. Configure your firewall to allow iTunes to connect to the Internet. Many firewalls block software programs' ability to get online as a security precaution. This is because some spyware and malware is designed to transmit personal data from your computer. Making iTunes a trusted program within your firewall software is necessary for it to function properly. Create a new iTunes library file. An unstable or corrupted library file can cause iTunes to suddenly quit or not open at all. Recreating a library file is a lengthy process that depends heavily on the operating system you are using. See the iTunes Support page under. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1451 Reinstall iTunes on your computer. If no other troubleshooting steps are successful, then the fastest way to solve the problem is to start from scratch. Hope this helps.

How to Convert AAC to MP3?

question.pngWhat is AAC? AAC (Advanced Audio Coding) is a standardized, lossy compression and encoding scheme for digital audio. Designed to be the successor of the MP3 format, AAC generally achieves better sound quality than MP3 at many bit rates. AAC’s best known use is as the default audio format of Apple’s iPhone, iPod, iTunes, and the format used for all iTunes Store audio.
question.pngWhy you Need to Convert AAC to MP3? Apple’s iTunes is a very popular music services now, which has earned millions of dollars in sales over the past few years. In general, the format in the iTunes music sales is the so-called AAC format. This format is DRM protected (Digital Rights Management).
For those customers who buy music in the AAC format, it can be quite frustrating for they cannot play their music wherever and whenever they want. Although AAC has better sound quality than MP3 at many bit rates, MP3 is still much more popular than AAC around the world. Once you convert AAC to MP3, the DRM protection is removed, and then you can play the converted music on any media player and portable devices.
question.pngHow to Convert AAC to MP3? Fortunately, the elimination of the DRM protection of the AAC is possible, by using this DRM Media Converter to help you convert AAC to MP3. The step by step remove DRM AAC to MP3 guide is as following:
Step 1: Add AAC Files
Run this DRM Media Converter, click “Add” button to load your AAC files:

Step 2: Select MP3 as the output format.
Set the output settings in the "Convert audio to" area and select MP3 as the output video format.

Click the "Start" button to start to convert AAC to MP3, that's all.

Itunes on window xp will not open. I get error

Hi,

Deleting cached video files of the download and starting the download from beginning, often will resolve the issue.

To find cached video downloads:

1. Navigate to the downloads folder. This folder can be found in the location listed below. Note the itunes media folder may appear as "iTunes Music".

2. My Documents -> My Music -> iTunes -> iTunes Media -> Downloads

3. Locate the folder that contains cached video file for this purchase. The folder will be named for the purchased video, and name will end with .m4v.tmp.

Example: Turtles.m4v.tmp

4. Delete these files and open iTunes.

5. Choose Store -> Check for available downloads.

6. Enter your user name and password, click check button.

Itunes file twice the size as library

when you add music to your itunes library, it copies them to the itunes music folder for itunes to manage it or itunes has every song twice in its library, to check whether itunes has not copied your music twice, view your music in LIST VIEW in itunes and if you see some songs has been copied twice delete on of them.
You can also delete the songs on your music folder to save disk space or you can leave them if you use another music player other than itunes.
But I think you should delete the files in your music folder.
