Not sure whether its a Tecnowind extractor, but the fan motor has the same identification characters that I've seen quoted on the Web-site DTA01.
This is installed in the UK in a rented property, and about once every five years (or so you would think by the condition) someone has opened the unit up and taken a look inside. I did just that yesterday. Not a pretty sight...
I believe that there are two filter cartridges, one at each end of the fan. The one I have removed is dripping with very sticky oil/grease and needs replacing and it doesn't require much intelligence to work out that the yet-to-be-removed one is in a similar condition. There would appear to be charcoal pellets in the removed filter cartridge.
'Tecnowind' and 'DTA01' used in a Google.co.uk search yields no results. Does anyone have any idea where the HQ (or that of the UK distributor) has its/his premises, or, more simply, where I can get some spare filter cartridges?

I've seen a few other people posting this problem, which is actually a good thing because it means it's probably facebook's problem, not yours. Make sure you are running the most current version of your web browser, and just wait it out!
