Doesn't start There is power to the dryer but when the start button is pushed nothing happens. The light is on and there is no hu mm. The drum does turn manually. This happened once before, it blew the circuit breaker. When reset it worked just fine up until now.

Same thing; I select the cycle and push the start button but nothing happens. I can hear the cylce timer hum and the start button clicks but that's all. The light is on so I know there is power.

Check the door switch. Also it could be bad contact in the timer.

When start button is pushed, hums but does not run. Drum does not turn. Belt is okay

It sounds like it is the motor or a stuck/obstructed blower wheel. You can start by opening the door, push the door switch in, hit the start button & see if you can turn the drum clockwise by hand. This might get it going. if the drum does not move by hand then the problem is probably within the blower. post your findings for a follow up

i get this all the time,yes it is the motor,what happens is the motor gets so weak that it will no longer turn the drum it just hums,a motor on ebay runs about $65,your model number if you want to tackle it is inside the dryer door-mike

Wont start

try turning the drum by hand...is it jammed? if not, then: the motor will not turn due to a number of reasons: 1.) simply burned out copper windings 2.) switch not turning on motor or not turning on motor starting circuit-depending on design ...if jammed, then try to find the interference to turning
