You don't say if it is a laptop or a PC but I am going to assume that this is a Laptop. If it was a PC then usually the whole keyboard would be dead but since all the letters you are referring to is in a single line on the keyboard it sounds like a problem you would find on laptop keyboards when the ribbon cable is damaged or not connected properly.
The ribbon cable is a flat piece of plastic with wires running through it that connects the keyboard to the laptop's motherboard. If one of the electric wires are not making a good connection or is damaged - a whole row of keys can be dead.
See this link on how to remove most Dell keyboards and then disconnect the ribbon cable and re-insert it. that should solve the problem unless of course the ribbon cable itself is broken in which case you can purchase a new keyboard for the laptop
