Question about Maytag Washing Machines
Without a make and model it is hard to say but I would say there must be a small protrution or maybe a cut in the aggitator that is catching them feel around again slow and carefully if you still can't feel anything give the edges of the agitator a slight sand with some very fine sandpaper hopefully this will fix the problem. Make sure your agitator isn't loose on it's mount maybe they are catching under the agitator.
