I have a Mitac Mio

I have a Mitac Mio 168 PDA with built in GPS. The last two times I have used it after around 45 minutes the screen starts to fade from the center until I am left with a blank blue screen. From this point the only way to restart the PDA is to soft reboot it, but even then the screen fades after a few minutes.I am thinking the on board battery. It is connected to a cradle that shows power and the power light is on green to indicate it is fully charged. Another theory I have is that I am drawing more power than the battery is able to supply, but I have a full charge indicator??
