It is very difficult to offer any advice on something that you have no idea what it is.

This question is listed under "JVC car speakers and subwoofers" I am pretty sure that speakers do not have a volume knob.

If you would be kind enough to put your model number in a post here, I may be able to help. And if the stereo is not a JVC, could you please list who makes it as well.

Different models have different problems, so knowing that information would be helpful.

Does the display show that the volume is going up? Do the numbers that indicate volume change when you turn the knob?

Or do you just get nothing at all when you turn the volume knob?

As much detail as possible would make any advice given to you much more reliable.

Amps usually receive their signal through RCA wires. Your radio should have one pair of RCA outputs on the back. (red and white) You will adjust your subwoofer volume by adjusting the gains on the amplifer (little knob next to the RCA inputs of the amp), then you can turn up the bass on your radio.

How do u set the clock on an xdma6630 cd receiver

Press and hold AUDIO key. Using volume knob to adjust, keep clicking AUDIO to browse through all options, turning them off as they somehow disable the DISPLAY button when on. With clock on, follow the normal directions from the manual: press and hold DISPLAY button until clock blinks. Set hours and minutes with arrow buttons. Leave alone to exit. Afterward you can turn all extras back on with AUDIO button/VOLUME knob.

I cannot turn the volume down. i even removed the plastic button and turn the post but the volume will not go0 down

If it doesn't get louder when you increase the volume, then possibility that is not the volume control or the potentiometer isn't in volume adjustment mode. Try pushing the knob before you rotate it, it might switch to a different function. Other cause could be that the switch is smoked. This is possible specially with analog type rotary and slider potentiometers. With digital static switches it also happens when it's just so used up and doesn't conduct electricity at the contact surface inside the wafer casing.
