The turn on voltage that the amp needs comes from the radio wiring harness and it is the blue wire that is in between the red and the white wires on most JVC radios.

Hope this helps and a rating of "FixYa!" would be appreciated for this free information.

Let me know if you need any more help.

I have a jvc kd r310 cd player and im running a 4 channel amp and 2 subs. How do i hook up another 4 channel amp to run my door speakers and rear speakers

There should be a "line out" on your amp. Take a pair of RCA patch cable and run it fron "line out" of the 1st amp to the "Line in" of the 2nd amp. Then wire that 4ch amp for your speakers.

JVC KD-R616 Car Audio Receiver wiring the speakers without the amp

The Front left and right speaker lines as well as the rear left and right speakers are marked on the output wires of the car stereo. These are marked and the positive line will be usually the wire with the same colour but with a line.
You can connect these individually to the speakers one by one... use the car harness if available.

I have a JVC KD-G441, which I have just put in the car. However, the preferred settings do not get saved if I turn off the engine. Does anyone know why? The car is a Peugeot 206 SW, if that helps. Jade

For all car cd players their is connector back side of the cd. having bunch of wires, in that if you connect squencily , the colour code of the wires are as follows
1. black for earth
2. red for acc, that you have to connect through ignition key +12volts
3. yellow, +B for continous supply that is battery
4. white and white with black stripp for front speskers
5. greay , greay black for front speaker
6. voilet ,voilet black for rear speaker
7. green, green black for rear speaker.
8 blue, for system remote .
if your yellow wire of +b is wrogly connected then memory problems comes
please try
regards
sam
