Go to the hardware store, in the aisle where the bolts, etc. are. Find an item called a push cap. My mower takes 1/2". I put J-B Weld in the cap (just to make sure), and tapped it on with a hammer. Make sure the wheel spins freely before you commit yourself to hammering it all the way down. Total cost, less than a buck.

Perhaps you can find the part on the diagram at www.ToolPartsDirect.com. Type in the model number of your mower and look at the diagram. You can order the parts there if needed. Click the link on the right side of this page to go to ToolPartsDirect.com. They are one of the sponsors here.

if its rated at 13.5 amps, then you should be operating it on a 20 amp circuit. Also, you need to use a 14 gauge extension cord, otherwise the voltage drop on the extension cord causes the motor current to rise

Black & Decker Lawn Hog 19" Mulcing Mower MM875 won't start

The rectifier is a flat plate with 4 posts that attach the electric wiring inside. You will need a flathead screwdriver to remove the four screws holding down the cover on your mower. on top where all the wires run (you will probably see one burned) There is a screw in the middle holding down the plate, you will need to replace the plate and resplice the wires that may be burned.

There are a few sellers on ebay for this switch (search for 681064). Some only ship to the USA.
According to some websites, Sears also uses the same switch for their Craftsman electric lawn mowers.
