My harddrive wont let me play online - Microsoft Xbox 360 Console

the problem might be your cd drive. the lens may be broken. I suggest you go to a technician and convert your ps2 to harddrive. it loads games much faster and you wont need cd to play games.

Also, try a Quick format on the harddrive ( you'll lose game data though)

This might be caused by a profile you have on the hard drive that is corrupted. You could try creating a second profile and logging into it and trying the game that way, if it works, re-download your original profile. Hope that helps!

if your ps3 is not set up to auto play when you insert disk. the disk should show in the menu under video menu, just select the dvd icon. If it still wont play the easiest way to figure out the problem is go to your settings menu and select reset default settings. this will reset to factory settings but wont delete and info stored in your harddrive. then try again. it should play.

it is just a problem with halo because it happens to alot of people you can buy a new one or live with it

you can try installing the game onto your hard drive and then playing it, or try to get a new copy of the game. the xbox number is 1-800-4MY-XBOX

the only way i know to clear the hdd is to do it manualy from the dashboard.

well the harddrive is corrupt same thing happened to mine. this happened because while you were playing a game or watching a film you probably moved the console which damages the harddrive but there is no way you can fix it you either send it to sony which would cost a fortune because its in america and there is a risk of it getting lost or damaged in the post or you type in ps3 repair in google and click on the first one.
