Restore my packard bell to factorl settings

Hello there,

If you want to recover Windows Vista factory settings, go to "Control Panel", then "Backup and Restore Center." There you can choose to restore your operating system using system restore or to restore your system from a previously saved restore point.

Hope this helps

I want to reformat PB MS2303

Packard Bell is a computer manufacturer, now owned by Acer. Restoring your computer will erase the hard drive and install a fresh copy of Microsoft Windows. This is beneficial if the Packard Bell is showing its age and running extremely slow or has been hit with an incurable virus infection. Before attempting to restore the system, be sure to back up any data you wish to save.

1.Insert the Windows Setup CD/DVD into the computer's optical drive. The disc will have been included with the Packard Bell computer.

2.Restart the computer with the disc inserted. A black screen will appear when the disc is detected, displaying "Press any key to boot from CD or DVD..." Press any key on the keyboard to launch the Windows installer. The "Install Windows" screen will appear.

3.Click "Next."

4.Select "I accept the license terms" and click "Next."

5.Click "Custom" when asked what type of installation you'd like. The other option is "Upgrade," but in order to restore your Packard Bell system to its factory settings, you must reformat the hard drive.

6.Click "Drive Options" when asked where to install Windows. Select the C: drive and click "Erase." Select the unallocated space after it has been erased, and click "Format." Format the space using the "NTFS" file system.

7.Click "Next" and Windows will begin reinstalling on the Packard Bell's hard drive. The system will reboot when finished and launch into your newly restored Packard Bell.

The error may be with the file or the software you are using to open it. Try download a fresh copy of adobe reader and try copying the file again and opening it again.

My WMP 11 on Vista will not recognise my philips

Could be driver problem. You can try reinstalling the driver for the device. If it's a vista system, you might want to run the executable file in administrator mode, or even change the compatibility to XP.

Uninstall the current installation of the device software.
  • Insert CD in CD-ROM
  • Right click on the setup file
  • Choose properties / Compatibility Tab
  • Set it to XP
  • and tick the box at the bottom run as administrator.
I hope that help.

Windows media player does not work (vista home) unless run as adm

Maybe your windows have been corrupt or the WMP files have been deleted by a virus. Try to repair it with recovery CD.

Corrupted files of vista home basic

How did you know you had a Trojan Virus that came from your cam ?
Reinstall your op using the disk that came with it ,Then always keep a backup .
I've been online for over 10 years without a virus ,I will tell you like I tell my brother
stop going to the porn sites (the best of virus makers) and you will be virus free .If you keep more then one copy of your op everything will be fine.
Sorry to tell you like this but a virus like in real life and on the web will always be there but unlike real life you can make a copy on your computer if you do it enough you lose little and not it all.

Rebooting

When booting wait for the manufacturers screen to appear, i.e acer, packard bell etc... then press Alt and tap F10 this will bring up the recovery manager to enable you to restore your computer to factory settings.

Before you do this when you boot press F2 to go into the bios and make sure that D2D is enabled.

I hope this helps
