Question about Fuji FinePix S7000 Digital Camera
My camera got slightly wet by ocean water and will not work. It sometimes starts to turn on (once even taking a picture with no LCD screen), but mostly is dead. Could this just be a battery problem? Can a battery get ruined by a little saltwater without hurting the camera? Thanks,

The camera's charge-couple device (CCD) within the camera must have suffered a short-circuit due to the sea water, rendering the imaging device damaged. As a result, the battery would drain pretty quick while its switched on.
Please take the camera to the nearest service center to have it repaired.
