Format error in LG MP3 player CM60022 ACT_V9.1.52

It is 4GB capacity mp3 player, when I am trying to transfer the data in to it, it is giving me format erro and when I try to format it,After completing the processes it is saying that the format is done successfully. but the player is not getting format. After doing so when I tried to transfer the Data again it says that the file system is corrupted. But, at first when I got it I am able to transfer the data in to it, but not now. Please help me regarding this

IT HAS CAPACITY OF 4G.B. BUT WHEN I DOWNLOAD ANYTHING INTO IT. THE MESSAGES THAT IT SHOWS IS THAT IT HAS GOT ONLY 1M.B MEMORY AND CANNOT LOAD THAT FILE. TELL ME THE COMMANDS TO MAKE IT WORK RIGHT.
