Question about D-Link AirPlus DI-524 Wireless Router
Elow...i need a help...i want to connect my Dlink di-524 to my main router Linksys RV042 because i want to use the di-524 wireless so that i can use my laptop wireless internet...plzz help...
You need to cascade the Dlink wireless router to your RV042.
Suppose your RV042 has a default IP Address of 192.168.1.1, and the DLINK IP uses 192.168.0.1. Your Physical connection is from the regular port of the RV042 going to the WAN/Internet Port of the DLink wireless router.
Once you do that, your Dlink router should automatically obtain an IP from the main router. If it did, configure your wireless settings and you should be able to connect via wireless.
This is just one way to cascade your router to another router.
