I have an ASUS Eee PC like yours. I bought a USB CD drive for external use for this purpose. If you can borrow one, that's even better. They do come in handy though.

I have a Dell Inspiron Mini 10 no cd rom drive, when i put the netbook on ,,it shows a blue screen., i need help to fixs it............ Its on safe mode!!! I have the cd to reboot it, I just don't know...

The Recovery CD was meant to be used with an external CD drive. They just assume you'll buy one. If it's in safe mode, you should'nt have a blue screen in safe mode. In safe mode, you should be able to use the computer in pretty much the normal way.If so, then what you need to do is a "System Restore". Click the "Start" button, then "Control Panel", then "System". Near the top -left corner of the "system" box, you will see a tab labeled "System Restore". Clickit, and follow the instructions.

Bought a new computer and want to use usb 3g adapter on new computer. I think I need to install software, however there is no disk drive as it is a netbook

Dear johnls,
Try to copy the installation CD to a flashdisk the run the installation from flashdisk when you connect it via USB jack on your netbook.
Or try to connect the external Optic Drive (CD/DVD ROM), wait until the netbook complete the installation of your optic drive. Restart your netbook with external CD ROM connected via USB jack, then run the 3G installation from your External CD ROM.

GoodLuck!

Best regards,

CD ROM not working

Sounds like your CD Rom has karked it and is dead. This happens for many reasons. Take it into a computer technician to get a new one put in for you and your laptop will run perfect and you won't have to worry about the BIOS problem

Hope This Helps
