This is easy enough to do. What is the make and model of your PC? Is it a Brand Name or generic.

Do you have the CD that came from your motherboard?

If you uninstalled your soundmax drivers then you can go to the manufacturer of the computers website and get a replacement driver.

I accidentally deleted my soundmax driver and do not have cd with me. can you help?

You need to go to the manufacturer website. Information you will need is, Make, model No, S/No , manufacture date. Send them an email they will provide you with a link where you should be able to obtain the appropiate driver and any updates. Alternatively you could roll back the computer to a previous date, say a day before you deleted the driver. Good Luck

You won't find your driver on Microsoft, you can find your driver directly from Compaq by clicking here:
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/DriverDownload.jsp?prodNameId=367369&lang=en&cc=au&prodTypeId=321957&prodSeriesId=367367&taskId=135

Just choose your OS and click away.
