Help when i push the power button the the light turn on and it tryies to slide out and turn on but then it clicks for a couple seconds and then slids back in

check that the slide control locks are not in position before pressing the button
they are there to stop the slide from sliding out when going around corners

OK my Kindle has done that before..stick on charger and leave it there...it may pop on on its on...OK and it could be on just screen is not ..hold power button down for like forty five seconds..then release power button and as quick as u release push it in one good time and release button..that's a reset for Kindle hopefully like like with mine u will see LCD light up ..good luck

Click and hold down the power butting on the phone, after a couple of seconds you will be given the option to slide your finger down the phone to turn it off. Once off click and hold the power button again to power back on.

Press the "power" button to drop the call.
Next reset the device by:
1. Press the Off button for 2 seconds
2. Slide to power off
3.Turn on the device by pressing "Power" button for 3 seconds

I have the same problem. It worked fine for over 7 years now. Yesterday I put it into the charging device after I switched off the Mouse. Started to charge. In the moring I took it off and slide the Off button to On. The battery indicator shows full. Windows 7 recognize it but no mouse movement. I tryied 2 different computers (both with XP) and the mouse is recognized but not working. I tryied to look into the laser lens but no red light there.... I also tryied to put it into charghing the Red Status Lid for 1 second and after it goes all green.

What to do???

This problems the FBT-the Flyback Transformer have cold solders.Must resolders the FBT.The right side wall of the FBT-the "H" horizontal transistor,must be also resolder too.

Generally... There is ON/OFF - SET - ACCELERATE/RESUME, COAST/DECELERATE. Cruise is available at speeds above 35mph or so. Sometimes there is no main on/off. Cruise on a turn signal stem has a button that pushes in on the end, push when at desired speed. resume/accelerate slides to right, is spring loaded and return left when released. the same lever when slid left is coast/decelerate. Momentarily sliding accelerate and releasing increases crusing speed by a couple mph. If brakes are used cruise disengages, sliding resume returns you to cruise speed after braking. Coast/decelerate disengages cruise, when at desired lower speed hit set. On some, hitting set not needed, when coast is released speed is maintained. Variations may be up/ down instead or may be steering wheel face mounted. Please rate answer. Duct tape is like the force, it has a dark side.. a light side.. and holds the universe together!

while pushing the power button , push reset button for couple of seconds. hope that helps as that is what worked with mine.

Per the Owner's Manual, slide the Power key to the left and hold for eight seconds. THis will reset the nuvi and it should operate normally after that. Note, I had to do this with my nuvi - it took a "long" eight second but it worked!
