Question about Wacom Bamboo Fun 8.5" x 5.3" USB Tablet with Cordless Pen and Mouse - Black

Replacement Stylus for tablet?

Not really a problem about the tablet, but the stylus for my Wacom Bamboo Fun (Model: CTE-450) was dropped, and doesn't work anymore. ... I'm looking for a replacement stylus, but I'm not sure if any kind of electronic pen from Wacom would do? And how do I order one from them? They're eStore has been offline for awhile, and I don't know of any local stores that carry just the stylus.

Does the Wacom Intuos2 Classic Pen (xp 300e) work with the Wacom Bamboo CTL 470 tablet?

From what I read on Wacom's site, they are NOT compatible.
The Bamboo use a stylus that is different than the nib pens that the Intuos use. The stylus for the Bamboo is more like the stylus you can purchase for smart phones. The Intuos pens are pressure sensitive and have different nibs you can use for different effects and feel. You can go to their website and look for compatible pens and stylus' for your specific tablet.

That happened to me yesterday. I installed it and as soon as it was done my pen started working again. Hopefully this works for you too!

Wacom Bamboo Fun Pen isnt working correct

I think you dropped the pen on its tip and broke the little ferrite sensing core.  You can try to repair it by gluing the core back together - it worked for me.  For detailed instructions on how to do it, go here: http://wishidknownthat.blogspot.com/2009/04/fixing-wacom-bamboo-pen.html  or you can try to swap the core for the eraser and the tip (more involved - you would need to be very good with a soldering iron to attempt this).  Either way - it's unfortunate that the pen is so fragile and that the user manual doesn't really warn you of this.
Good luck!

Bamboo Fun has a mind of its own

This problem is farly common but the solution may anger you. Buy a new one.
I know this from experience, I had this for 11 months and over time the tablet will glitch. But all things considered, the thing IS only $70.00 so there is no big loss there.
It's because the Bamboo tablet is cross-circuited to the pen through a mini WiFi connection (No Charge time) so over time, yes it will glitch.
Suggestion: Buy a new one
