It seems that it's about to "die".
So, my recommendation is that you buy another flash-drive,
and copy all the files from "old" to "new",
and then take a hammer to destroy the old drive (and the data on it).

How can i disable a read only on properties box for an obnoxious program that seems to be impossible to uninstall?

most readonly can be changed (if your admin) right click file, check properties and unclick readonly. save then it is readable, and to uninstall. you also as admin under properties take ownship.
or you also can boot to media, use DOS commands to delete it.

Plug the flash drive in your computer.
Then go to the Cmd Prompt, RunAs Administrator,

Then type Diskpart >
To list all the available Disks, type List Disks. You will see all the drives listed with a number ID. So the flashdrive might be Disk 3, or whatever.

Now type Select Disk # (whatever the flashdrive # is)

Now type Attributes clear readonly.

Now type Exit, to leave the diskpart applet

That should do it.

My readontvmovieradioplayer engines #1 & engines #3 will not load movie on ADULT ON DEMAND

That is an issue with Readon. Search engine #3 has not been providing accurate links for quite some time and engine #1 will show links but not play them.

Engines 1 & 3 doesn't work

The search engines for the Adult on Demand plugin in Readon have been difficult for some time now. This is an issue with Readon and not with your computer.

ReadOnly locked...

Strange sort of fix: I connected the drive to USB, made sure that the drive was readonly locked, and then flipped the powerswitch on the drive on/off (without unplugging the USB). It works now...
