I think the problem with your phone is that, the flex on the screen of your phone is malfunctioning and will need to be replace.

The problem is common with flip and slide phones. The flex gets worn out as a result of constant opening and close of the flip or slide phone.

I would urge you to replace the flex and I am assuring you that your screen will display picture again. You might also be lucky to find out that the flex is not well fix, that is, it may have loosed contact.

If you cannot change the flex yourself, maybe you should take the phone to a local repairer within your vicinity, so that the flex can be fixed/replaced.

sometimes on the older flip phones, when the phone is clamp shut it is "slammed" a little hard. It then rattles the flex cable capabilities and wil temporarily turn off the screen. Just as if you were to drop it or something. I would be careful how you close it. Take the battery out let it sit then put the battery back in. Its kind of just the way it is.

the FLEX is the problem

This is a known problem for Razr V3. I had a phone like it with the same problem four years ago... I bought another brand and put the V3 away..three years later the phone works perfectly but I have not used it since three years..only turned it on to see if the screen will come on. Get the phone repaired or buy a new one. this is common on a RAZR

First take the phone to a mobile service center and have them replaced your ear piece as well as the flexcable to correct these issues.

its easy fix. goto modmymoto.com , get the rsdlite software and flash your phone with the same version software. it will be fine then.

most common prob on v3 model is its flex connector.  try replacing it or look for a technician who can handle the job. im sure your prob will be solved...
