Question about Canon imageRUNNER C3200 Copier
How to scan (not photocopy) using the photocopier on a 2-sided original so that I can send it via network ? Thks!
1st off, you don't mention if your network sending has been set up, so I'm going to assume that it is. To scan both sides of the page is relatively easy. after you've selected the destination where it should be sent to, on the display there should be a button marked "Two-sided original". simply press this button and choose "book type" and press OK and the green start button.
I'm using a later version of that model, so the button may not be on your display. if it isn't try looking inside scan settings or send settings. Don't be affraid to play with the options available on the screen, they're not permanent, so if you activate a setting that you don't want, you can clear it by pressing the yellow button with the two lines on it.
Also, you need to keep in mind that if you do manage to send double-sided, the image at the computer will appear as two single-sided sheets. to print them double sided you will have to select that option during printing.
If your network send feature has not been set up, I would suggest that you either get somebody familiar with the product, like a canon tachnician, or even clued up I.T. technician to set it up for you.
