Question about PC Desktops
RAM Memory is a small 1 X 4 inch board that plugs into the mother board. Depending on your computer and type of mother board, your RAM Memory needs to meet certain specifications. The best thing to do is to take a RAM board out of the computer and take it to a Circuit City or Best Buy store so they can get you what you need...but if you have a friend that can help you, then Ebay would be the cheapest alternative. Here is a How To guide on installing RAM (same thing for taking RAM out of a computer, just backwards). Also, look at the RAM socket (the connector on the mother board) and make sure there are more like it right next to the one that is curently holding the RAM. This way you can simply add more memory modules. Hopes this helps a bit and dont forget to rate my answer.
