How to format DVD that you put on a USB card to play in flip up DVD player

I'm a bit confused with the terminology? You want to format a Card or a USB drive? If you insert a USB or a Card drive into a computer, open the Computer folder select the USB or Card, right click, select format. Usually the Camera has, in settings, a format procedure, select format/erase, and OK/Yes.

How to format my sd card to play video on my boss bv8962

i had the same problem. It is illegal to watch videos while driving hence why they dont tell you how to play youtube off of card and usb. But after hours of testing converted videos here what works for me.

download pazera free flv to avi converter. after that you will have to custom convert the videos with these settings....video format is MPG custom MPEG-2/ FPS 29.97. Audio mp3-mpeg- layer 3/ bit rate 128 and i added stereo-2 for kicks. last but not least custom resolution 720x480. convert and it works :)

Sd card

Is it the right format. It may not be able to read something in a completely different format. Check the lock switch on the side of the card to make sure it is not in the "lock" position. Please rate my answer so I am awarded points for it.

Videos on my sd card or flash drive do not want to play

make sure the videos are in the right format, in the owners manual it should be detailed about what format they need to be in, the format has to be correct for the videos to be recognized by the unit.

Won't read an SD card

It sounds like either your GPS plug came out of the back of the unit, or your gps does not have a clear view of the sky, or if the gps is mounted on a trunk that opens and closes a lot the wire can break inside. I dont think the software is your issue, just to make sure if you update make sure the update file is the only file on the card, if there are other files (left over pictures, etc) they can cause the unit to disreguard the whole card.

JENSEN VM9512 SD SLOT PROBLEM

Hello,
I don't have this unit but I have this problem with another unit. Problem when unit read only 1-4GB SD without this symbols HC because this cards which have HC is high speed storage and need high speed storage readers or this unit need new upgrade to read SDHC and I think upgrade is not possible for this unit. You need to use only standard SD 1-4GB cards. Or you can ask service or upgrade is possible.
I hope I help :)
