That totally worked! We were freaking out! Thank you. The controller was blinking green (we have had them for 1 1/2 yrs). Out in new batteries. Not the problem. The pushing of the button on the controller didn't work but the pushing of the button on the console did. Thank goodness!!!!!!! Thanks again!

If you have a wireless controller you may simply need to sync it up with your console. You'll notice on the top of your controller there is a small button to the left of the attachment slot on the top with a few 'waves' coming off of it. Press this button and hold it until the green lights on your controller start to circle around the Xbox symbol.

Once this happens you'll want to locate the sync-up button on the front of your Xbox 360 console. The button is a small, round-shaped button located to the right of the memory card slots. Press it and hold it until the lights on your Xbox 360 console begin to circle around the power button.

If this is the problem your controller and console's lights will all blink simultaneously before your controller connects.

If your controller is not wireless or this does not solve the problem I'd suggest checking with support, though don't expect a whirlwind of information to come pouring in to you.

You have the controller set in "pairing mode." This enables the controller to be paired with the X-Box. Either press the sync button on the X-Box to pair it, or take the batteries out of the controller to clear it.

Are your controllers connected to the xbox? that is how you get green light bars around your main green light bar. If you are not refuring to this and nuthing is showing up on your tv screen but you have sound try ajusting/ spinning around the yellow av cord ( Yellow cord is what projects pictures onto screen) . Hope it helped. =]

My vaio wont turn on and the green light in the back keeps blinki

The green light blinking in the back indicates that the power supply went bad and is not turning on, go ahead and get the power supply replaced. Normally that light is supposed to be fully lit and green.

X box controller

There's a little button on the front of your 360 and the same button is on the front of the controller. You hit the button on the 360 and the green lights around the power button start to circle. Then you hit it on your controller and the green lights around the xbox guide button start to circle. In a second or two they'll find each other and both will flash at the same time, and it's synced up. I think there's a little symbol of air waves next to the button.
