Question about Miele 24 in. G656SCi Plus SS Built-in Dishwasher

Half way through a program then stops, leaving water in the bottom of the machine

I have checked all the filters including the water inlet, all clear
Any program stops half way through leaving water in the washer, with the Inlet/Drain light flashing.
I will replace the water inlet pipe tonight, this is a costly exercise if I am not right with this solution.

Please advise

Check the flood switch first. It will stop the dishwasher but you may hear a moter running.

Possible this seems to be an error. You need to start by check the inlet water flow, check the free flow, if not check the inlet valve or the valve drive. Also check the drain pump and see if there is no clogging, Now switch on and check voltage on the inlet valve, if absent check the main program controller. If water flows check

Whirlpool Cabrio washer model WTW6200SW, when the wash cycle is started, starts filling with water, after roughly one minute the machine stops than goes into spin cycle, will spin for a short time than...

Possible there are errors in the program memory. Power off the washer for half an hour, press and hold down the start button , then switch on. Try also with another program. Also check if the inlet filter is clogged and the water flow is good, if not clean. Also check the water level pressure sensor.

My smart drive GW 509 au does not fill up with water. Water goes in but only for 10 seconds and stops. Machine then bips with some error.

Please check the pressure on the inlet valve and see if the flow is good, if this is low on the inlet then check your tap and water line. Otherwise check the INLET filter, check the command to the inlet valve and if the inlet is timed out then there is fault on the program controller unit.

Zanussi 1140m stops half way through wash cycle then displays error code E21.....works ok on stright spin cycle....filters checked and found to be clear

It is possible that the machine does not start off the cycle because there are errors or back feedback from the inputs. For the program to start up the main program controller must initiate the INLET valve to open up and allow water to flow into. If this does not happen then the voltage at the inlet valve must be checked or the fault relates to no voltage from the controller. This means the controller is a suspect.

If the water flows then the flow should be good, if not the inlet valve is bad or there is dirt in the filter. Also check the flow at the inlet of the water line. Once the water comes into the system the WATER LEVEL SENSOR - normally a pressure switch- must activate at the preset/chosen level to give the signal to the program controller to switch on the motor. What is most important for the motor to start functioning is that the door switch must be ON when the door is shut or this will be an error for starting the motor for rinse and wash.

Finally after the wash the drain valve will be activated, the water is allowed to come in to rinse and then finally the dry spin with the drain valve/pump activated so as to drain off all the water from the clothes during the spin.

Make sure that a fault in any of the cycle will relate to the specified action, so check the command from the program module and then the executing device be it the valve or motor or pump.

Meile Novotronic W 828 Washing machine half way through the cycle it stopped and the screen shows a message saying "check the inlet"

It means what it says! i.e. water is not getting into the machine, the inlet hose or path is blocked or the inlet valve has failed. You need to turn off power and water and check it is getting water through inlet hose and that the inlet filter is clear, the filter can be seen on the valve when you remove the hose. You will need to open the machine to check the inlet valve and tubing. Hope that helps please vote

Machine fills up only half way....water eners very slow....afta machine stops, I get a PF 6 reading

Try removing each inlet hose in turn and check for water flow from each hose. If seem slow, try reversing that hose to back-flow the inlet filter screen which should remove loose debris, but won't affect any hard water deposits (soak the screen end in white vinegar and hot water for an hour or so). If both hoses flow well, check the entry holes in the machine for plugged screens. If all else fails, replace the twin inlet solenoids. Hope this helps!

Water dispenser stopped working

You can disconnect the line at the bottom before it goes into the door at the bottom hinge. Push the dispenser button and see if it comes out there. If it does, leave the door open till it thaws.

If it doesn't come out there disconnect it at the water inlet valve and see if it comes out there. The valve could be bad.

A strainer before the inlet valve can also get stopped up restricting flow.

Soapy water left in bottom of tub.

This is usually caused by a cold water supply problem, since cold water is what is used in the rinse. Check the water inlet valve. Remove the water supply hoses and check the small screens inside the water inlet valve (especially on the cold side). Make sure they are clear of rust and debris. The solenoids can be tested using a mulitmeter or ohmmeter. Test for continuity. A lack of continuity indicates a faulty solenoid. I will attach a photo for reference. Hope this helped and best wishes.

Dishwasher stuck´s in program

Hi there,

Well to Reset the error message as follows: To cancel the error message, turn the rotary selector switch to "Stop/End" or press the "Start/Stop" switch for approx. 5 secs. Then switch the appliance off and then back on again.

If resetting not work then you can check that the stopcock is opened fully or whether the water inlet hose is kinked. Check that the water inlet filter is not clogged and clean it, if necessary, as described in the operating instructions. Check that the drain pump is not clogged.

Good Luck!!
