My printer is canon 2700.My printer problem is page can't roll/move.All time signal red light.Please help me.

1600 - Orange light blinking 4 times Description:

The ink cartridge has run out.
Resolution:
  1. Lift the printer cover up.
  2. Identify the ink cartridge that has run out (the ink cartridge flashes quickly at around 1-second intervals).
  3. Replace the applicable ink cartridge and close the cover.
  4. Press the [Resume/Cancel] button on the device to continue printing.
If the above solution has not resolved your error, please contact your nearest Canon authorised service facility using the link at the top of the page.
1660 - Orange light blinking 4 times Description:

The ink cartridge has not been installed correctly.
Resolution:
  1. Lift the printer cover up.
  2. Check that the red lights on the ink cartridges are all turned on.
  3. If no red light is activated on a particular cartridge, check that the cartridge is securely positioned and adjust if necessary.
  4. Also make sure that the orange protective cap has been removed from the bottom of the ink cartridge.
  5. Press the [Resume/Cancel] button on the device to continue printing.

Hi I refilled the color cartridge in my canon MP150 printer when it became empty. Since then the printer displays error 5 and both color and black LEDs flash orange. When I moved into service mode the...

This method has worked on many simular methods and should work on your MP150.

  1. Disconnect the power cable
  2. Hold down power button
  3. Reconnect the power cable
  4. With the power button still down, press twice the "Cancel/Stop" red button
  5. Release the power button
  6. The printer is now in factory mode...(wait about 30 seconds until it says "idle")
  7. Press the down arrow (next to the "OK" button) until it says "Shipping Mode 1"
  8. Press the "OK" Button
  9. Now with it displaying "Without Cleaning" press the power button
  10. A test page should print
  11. Now open cover
  12. Disconnect the power again
  13. Take both cartridges out like normal
  14. Close cover
  15. Reconnect power cable
  16. Press power button
  17. Replace cartridges

try to reset ur printer. first off ur printer and take off the jack,just hold the grin light then plug the jack,and also hold the red light den move your fingers in the grin and red light

Paper jam

Dear Sir,

By analyzing your printer paper jam problem,it deffinately due to paper piece or dust particle wrapped to the the printer page roller.So check your printer keenly for any paper piece or any other obstacle disturbing printer roller and clean dust wrapped on printer roller with brush.Then turn on the printer give the page to the printer,care must be taken that page inserted is must be straight.then give the print. Red streak poor color

If streaking is occurring only at the bottom of the page (i.e. the last area to print as the paper is fed beneath the print head), the problem may be due to improper curl of the paper. Many inkjet printers (Canon especially), rely on a slight curl of the paper so that it is "bowed" when it travels beneath the print head.

To see if this is the problem, gently roll a sheet of paper so that the print side is on the outside of the roll. When you place the paper in the feed area, it should have a very slight bow so that the center of the print side is slightly raised off the surface, while the edges are on the surface.

Also, make sure you use only OEM (Canon) cartridges. There is not a single "compatible" cartridge in the world that won't screw up your Canon print head. Take my word for it (and I DON'T work for Canon), you must use only Canon cartridges.
