You need the T60 Hardware Maintenance Manual, which shows how to take apart and put together everything!

It can be downloaded from Lenovo's website at http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/document.do?sitestyle=lenovo&lndocid=MIGR-62733

Hello, I have a HP Pavilion laptop but the HP WLAN is always disabled. How can I fix this problem?

All laptops have a user button or switch to turn the wireless access on or off. Look for a red light above the keyboard; touch it and it should turn blue (that will turn the access on again). Alternatively, you could have a switch in the front or along the sides to turn wireless access on or off. Hope this helps.

Can't seem to find the manual on it but....
Most DSL/Routers have a connection setting in them with 2 settings.
1) On demand (Connects to internet as needed)
2) Always on (Stays connected to the internet)

Sounds like your DSL/Router is set to option 1

I'm afraid you can't boost the sgnal from the router without buying a repeater/booster box.

You will get the best wireless performance from your router if it is in the highest position possible in the house - of course it may be impractical to move it but, if you can, then do so.

The only other option is to purchase a booster. I don't know what country you are living in, so I can't give definitive advice. You should try a search on google or ebay for "wireless router booster"

Everything is possible!

Spilled water on keyboard of Sony VIAO VGN-FW250j and crashed HDD. Get system not found at startup. Replace HDD and get error:333 when loading recovery media kit. All hardware checks OK by Bestbuy geeks...

unfortunately water has a way of finding it's way into the circuit board, when it does it causes immeasurable damage, as parts of the circuit, and components that were not meant to get voltage are exposed to it, this generally ruins the machine's motherboard, with little chance of recovery. The HD may be OK as may be the DVD however anything electronic will generally be ruined, sorry. A recovery DVD is only good for SOFTWARE, problems... you have a hardware issue.

I dropped my vaio P11 and now the screen is red or mauve. Isn there asny solution?

Dropping your PC is never a good thing. I'm sorry, but you probably damaged something inside the laptop itself (more than likely the monitor)and there probably isn't going to be any solution that you can do to fix it yourself. I would suggest taking it to a qualified technician and have them look at it. Its going to cost $$$ so you need to decide do you want it fixed or just scrap it an buy an new one altogether? Good luck, sorry I was unable to provide happier news.

Cant connect to the using the router.

usually the ip address of the router is 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1. If you plug it in then go to start then run. If you type in there cmd and press enter on your keyboard it take you to a dos page (black backround with white text) In there type ipconfig and then press enter on your keyboard. The default gateway is the address of your router. If you type that ip address into your address bar when you open your browser it will take you straight to the router page. There you can confgure it. Let me know how it works out.
