I think my psp might have gotten wet and now it won't start. I have tried charging it and the indictator light won't even turn on. I have dried out the psp for weeks and it still doesn't work. Is there anything I can do to fix it?

If you are playing games from custom firmware then follow these steps:-
1) take out your psp battery 2)put on charge direct from charger(make sure the battery is not in psp) 3)turn on psp holding right trigger to move on psp recovery menu. 4)reset all flash settings(it's somewhere in advanced tab) 5)after resetting fullt turn off psp and put psp battery in and turn on here you go.
keeping Lithium ion batteries(found in ur psp) idle for such a long time without charging may discharge them compleatly and even if you try to charge them they will not function. this seems to be a problem with your battries not ur PSP. try to get it replaced from the dealer you bought the PSP from.
hope this solves your problem.. :D
did u format the memory card from the psp?
if yes then
remove the memory card and then try to start the psp
if still not starting then remove the battery umd and memory card from psp
and leave it for a day and then try inserting only the battery n make sure that thee is enough charge left on the battery
and if still the problem persists then plz tell me when u connect the charger does the charging indicator glow ?
this happened to me and i think it happens when you play your psp while its charging too much, i got littlebigplanet and i love the game too much. ive been playing it 24/7 (not really) but ever since i started playing it while it was charging, it would do this.
Please mention after switching on the PSP power LED turns on or not?
Suppose without connecting the charger when you power on your PSP you will see green light and you will get sound clear with no display at all and after 1 min: PSP will turn off automatically. then 99% it means that your PSP is bricked.
