If the battery is not charging or there are other charging issues, first try disconnecting / reconnecting the white battery connector or replace the battery. The details are below: http://www.batteryship.com/battery_instructions/LIS1241.pdf Good luck.

Palm lifedrive wont' boot stuck on palm screen

This sounds like the issue where the LifeDrive is stuck in a loop. You can see how to break the device out of the system loop on the Palm Knowledge Base article (26419) located HERE.

Hope that helps get you up and running again!

Z22 PALM WON'T TURN OFF.

Some 3rd party software is nasty to palm devices. Try uninstalling the software from the PDA and a soft reset. Then try turning it on.

Palm i705 won't turn on

Hi,

are you certain that the belkin universal charger, is compatable with the palm ?
if any single cable, is wired differently. this could have damaged the palm.
try a hard-reset using your palms user manual.
this varies between pdas, usually comprising of either a reset hole, at the bottom of the palm, or underneath the battery on certain models.
i,d suggest obtaining the correct charger/usb cable.
as you may cause damage to the unit. most new devices have a battery fitted, but does not necessarily mean it,s charged.

Hope this helps, please rate the solution.

I can not turn off my Palm

I realy don't know. I guess I kept pressing the reset spot on back and the Palm went off from no activity after a while and when I turned it back on it worked. I also found out at that time that the computer lost all my Documents to Go. I will contact HP and find out what is wrong before I try to see about the Palm.

Won't shut down

There are a couple of things you can try.

1- Poke the hole in the back where it says reset.
This will in essence reboot your Palm.

2- Make sure the Auto-Off after: is set to 2 minutes by going into the Preferences, Power section.

3- If your Palm is not holding charge, connect the Palm to charge it. Turn the Palm on and make sure the battery at the top has a lightning bolt going through it. This will let you know it is charging. Then, push the reset hole in the back to reset the Palm. This should reset the charging mechanism in the Palm and allow your battery to hold power.

If the Palm does not hold power after step 3, you may need to see about getting it serviced.
