If it's software go to control panel, add / remove programs and uninstall the program
if it's a driver right click on my computer, select manage, selsct device manager in the left pane, select the plus for mice and other pointing devices in the right pane. right click the one you want to get rid of and select uninstall

How do I get the mouse to mouse the mouse cursor

the battery in the mouse makes the red light come on, not the operating system.
Look in Device manager, find the mouse, uninstall the drivers, scan for new devices, re-install the drivers.
Otherwise look for new drivers on manufacturers site.

My GE wireless mouse 20331 is acting erratic and moving all by itself. I've changed options in control panel and it still is doing this. sometimes when I point and click it jumps to something else not...

the first thing that I would recommend is making sure that it is clean underneath since it is optical debri on the laser area can cause eradic behavior. My second suggestion would be to uninstall the software that came with it and just use the standard controller. I had to do that with a trackball that I was using because the software that came with the trackball wasnt playing nice with the operating system but once I removed that software the unit worked fine.

Kensington Optical Elite

Hi, you might want to try: 1) right click on My Computer, click on properties, hardware, Device Manager. 2)Expand Mice and other pointing devices, right click on the Mouse (whatever it is that is displayed assuming only one); 3)Click on Update Driver > In the Hardware Update Wizard, tick No, not this time, click on Next; 4) On the page that says "This wizard helps you install..............", tick on Install from a list of specific location, Next; 5) On the "Please choose your search......" tab, choose/tick Don't search. I will choose the driver to install; 6)On the "Select the device driver.........." click on Have Disk (you may have to select Kensington Optical Elite if it shows up among the different versions/models) ; 7) A new pop-up will ask you where the installer files are. Point it to where you have your installer normally in a CD (or D:\). It will look for a particular file that looks like xxxxx.inf which should be in the CD that came with your mouse or in a folder where you saved the drivers. In case Windows will ask if you want to continue because drivers are not certified or something like that just go ahead and install. 8) Proceed and follow instructions. You may need to reboot. 9) In case this does not work, reboot and uninstall as you have done previously. Hope this be of some help to you. Pls post again how things turn up. Kind regards.
