Question about Toshiba Satellite 1135-S1553 Notebook

Wireless problem I have Toshiba Satellite 1135-S1553, recently i formatted (got virus) and installed WinXP p and installed sound and wireless drivers from toshiba site below are the 2 drivers i have intalled still i am unable to connect.is there any thing need to be done click on the both the links and check Toshiba ConfigFree Utility for Windows XP (v1.01.07; 02-12-2003; 14.52M) Toshiba Wireless LAN Driver for Windows XP (v7.62.390; 12-03-2002; 515K) please email solution to dearvenkat@mail.com

Perhaps you have not installed ALL the drivers for your system.Sometimes a missing driver for other hardware causes a problem.After installing all the drivers for your system and if it still doesnt work , try using the connection manager built into windows (instead of configfree).

I resently lost sound of my first laptop toshiba satellite 1135 s1553 part 633436644k, rebooted windows,checked trouble device manager etc. but of no avail,then some body told me use usb sound card,


if your computer came with a motherboard disc the sound drivers could be on it

click start control panel administration tools computer management device manager scroll to sound video and game controllers you might see a yellow question exclamation mark? ! or a red X Right click to

reinstall drivers

click start control panel sounds and audio volume advanced speakers make sure you have selected the

(appropriate speakers) also audio you will find 3 drop down lists make sure you have the correct settings there

click start control panel sounds and audio devices select advanced there might be a tick in the mute box untick it

My toshiba 1135 s1553 powers up but i have a blank screen


You said you connected your laptop to another monitor and nothing shows up - looks like a problem with graphics card/motherboard.

Toshiba satellite 1135-S1553 randomly powers down

Please try the folowing

1) Switch on the Laptop
2) Press the F12, or del key to enter bios/setup
3) Leave it in this mode
4) If the laptop switches off, then your CPU is overheating and the heat sink will need to be replaced

Please book your laptop into a reputable PC shop for repair

Windows can not detect my pci card


Download the drivermax software from www.drivermax.com this software is free and will autodetect and download any unknown computer devices

did you have it in the past? is your wireless adapter turned on? toshibas have a tiny switch someplace on the side of case. and the fn key combo also will turn off. make sure wireless light is on. if it is than card may be bad, if not than turn it on.
