Question about Garmin nuvi 200W GPS Receiver
The power cord goes on and off. Any slight jar and the red light indicating power is on goes off. I have replaced the fuse (1A fast acting) and still the same result. I've only used the unit once. Is it possible that the cord from the power connection is broken somehow?
THANKS FOR TRYING. DID TRY THE POWER CORD IN ANOTHER VEHICLE - SAME RESULT!! GOT A NEW POWER CORD FROM RADIO SHACK

Could be the cord or your car plug. Does it fit snug? I have a 1996 Acura TL and the way the cigarette lighter is designed, I have to give it a bit of pressure so it makes good contact. try your unit in another vehicle and see if that solves the problem. If so, it's your car's cigarette lighter connection.
