We are having the exact same issue.  Will try the hard reset tonight and hopefully will fix the problem.  Any other solutions since your last advice?

Hello,
Try to hard reset the tv..Leave it unplugged for 4-6 hours and then plug it again and use..If this did not help Try to contact a service centre or service person because this is probably a hardware problem which definetly needs service and replacement!!...Thank you..

Hope this helps you....

Kind Regards!!

What is opc that pops up about every 10 Min

OPC is optical picture control. The television is adjusting itself to the lighting in the room. Even if someone walks in front of the television's sensor it will start to adjust and you will see opc on the screen and green leaves.
You can leave the feature on without the opc and green leaves appearing on the screen. Press the menu button. Scroll down to OPC. Press enter. Scroll to on. Press enter. Press menu to exit.

The menu screen turns on automatically and will not go away when I hit exit. It just keeps popping right back up immediately.

mine does the same thing. i have to let it warm up for 5 minutes or so, turn it off and then back on, and then it's fine. Does anyone know what's causing this problem?

Menu screen wont go away

Try to replace the key pad board on the side or the remote sensor board on the bottom. they are small boards and cheap. If that won't work, you need to replace the Small Signal Board (SSD Assy), which is quite expensive.
