Hello
It almost sounds like a mistake at the pc start switch and reboot switch.

Check that you have your pc start wires from the front start button of the case, in the correct spot on the motherboard.

Also remove the memory sticks and reseat them.

The green light on the motherboard is good it means your getting power from the power supply.

The start and reboot switch wiring can be tricky if one plug is in the wrong spot on the motherboard.

Processor Support (CPU Support),

AMD Phenom II X4 model 920, uses .0875 to 1.425 Volts, (DC),

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_AMD_Phenom_microprocessors#.22Deneb.22_.28C2.2FC3.2C_45_nm.2C_Quad-core.29

That is the average voltage range for the AMD Phenom II X 4 processor.

Look back at the AMD Phenom chart again on Wikipedia, and look especially at the voltage range for the 900e to the 945.
Now look at the ECS CPU Support page again, and you'll see your motherboard supports Phenom II X4 processors from 900e to 945.

Since the 910e and the 925 are supported, I know the technology of the 920 is supported.
The Core architecture and nanometer technology it is based on, is supported.
No BIOS update may be needed.

Yes is the answer.

[NOTE*
That processor can use up to 125 watts of power. You need a decent Power Supply.
That processor also gets H-O-T!
Make sure it has a GOOD cooling system, and the computer case inside, and the Power Supply, inside, are kept clean ]

What is the best quad core for ax3400g-u4802

The best quad core for that computer would be the AMD Phenom II X4 980 Black Edition. It will fit in your computer's AM3 socket, and is outrageously fast. It will cost a pretty penny though, almost $200.
